PhD Programmes

The Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management (GSEFM) - based in the House of Finance at the Goethe University Frankfurt - is the result of an alliance between the Goethe University in Frankfurt, the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and the Technical University in Darmstadt. Situated in mainland Europe's financial and banking capital, the aim of the GSEFM is to fullfill the three universities' joint vision by establishing one of Europe's premier centers for quantitative and research-oriented graduate-level education in Economics, Finance, and Management.

Building upon the achievements of Goethe University's established and highly successful research-oriented graduate programmes, the GSEFM offers a rich spectrum of programmes. These programmes follow the same structure as leading Anglo-Saxon graduate programmes, while at the same time, making the most of the interdisciplinary and inter-institutional wealth offered by the Goethe University Frankfurt, the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and the Technical University Darmstadt.
